Smoke Free
Due to the recently passed law by Kenton County, we are now a smoke free facility.

All Members
Please do not drop your children off at the door to be let in. You should be coming in with your key card. Do not lend your key card to anyone under any circumstance! You are responsible for your card. If you lose it, please notify a board member immediately so it may be deactivated. Replacement of the card is $15.00.

All Parents
We have been experiencing some vandalism by members’ children in the locker rooms and in the garden area. Please know that you are responsible for your children’s actions. Also, children are not permitted behind or to sit at the bar at any time.

Basketball Parents
Parents are asked to work the door either before or after your child’s game. Please make sure you have signed up to help! There should be no garbage left on the gym floor after games or practices. Please ask your children to help us out with this as it is their club too.

Seeking Athletic Director
We are looking for someone to fill the position of Athletic Director for Covington Turners. If you are interested, please contact a board member or attend the next board meeting on February 20th at 7:00pm.

Weight Room
Please know that only members are permitted in our weight room and gym. No guests are permitted. Please respect your club and fellow members and return your weights to the proper place prior to leaving your machine/equipment. If you are the last person to leave, please turn off all lights.

Club Hours
Please know that our club hours are from 6:00am to 1:00am. No one should be in the club between the hours of 1:00am and 6:00am. If you are the last one to leave, please turn off all lights.

Thursday Evening Men’s Golf League
Turners will be having a Thursday evening men’s golf league this spring. Please contact Eddie Houston at 859.760.7543 if interested.

Co-Ed Volleyball League
Volleyball is right around the corner. The season will start on Friday, February 24th or the following Friday, March 2nd. Depending on the 5th and 6th grade girls league that play on Fridays. Please contact Dan Niehaus to confirm or sign up your team! 513.340.1179 or 859.386.8054

Kids Easter Party Sunday, April 1st
This is a great event for the children! We are in need of volunteers to run the party this year. Please contact Linda Houston at 859.468.9353.

2012 National Golf Tournament
We need as much help for the event as possible! Without volunteers, the event cannot be successful. Right now, sponsorship is very important from donations for the golfers to hole sponsors or program sponsors. We will also need volunteers for serving food, bartenders at the club, and golf course volunteers. Anyone interested in helping in any way please attend this initial meeting or call Chris Groger at 859.630.9432 or Mike Brungs at 859.992.6441.

If you are signing an application for prospective new member, please remind them to include a check for $125 with the application. ($25 Application Fee and $100 Dues)

Board Meetings
Our board meets every third Monday at 7:00pm. All members are encouraged to come with any suggestions to improve our club.Next board meeting is February 20th.

Split the Pot
Don Burk won $212.50 on Split the Pot. Congratulations! Please see Amy Beck or Jeff Scherpenberg if interested in this monthly drawing. Please do not sign yourself on the split the pot board. Cost is $5.00 per month.

Information Needed
We do our best to recognize our members dealing with death and illness but do not always know and do not intentionally exclude anyone. If you have something to share please contact Mark Knochelman at 261-1065.

Rental Information
The third floor and outside garden are available for parties and special events. The cost is $250. Turner's will keep $100 and the other $150 will be applied to the cost of beer and soft drinks that must be purchased from the club. Beer is $30 per case and water and soft drinks are $12 per case. You must furnish your own ice and any food you want to serve. No bands are permitted and no helium balloons are permitted on the third floor. You will find an application behind the bar at the club and soon to be available on line.
